We also have lists of those who have been displaced and are sheltered in Kihei and Central Maui and what they currently need. We have several community partners who have access to West Maui. Starting Tuesday, August 15th, Kihei Charter School will be accepting items for distribution to individual families in need. We want to support our Maui community by becoming another donation center for South Maui. We are heartbroken over the devastation of our island this week. Gift cards can be dropped off at the front office. We would like to give these to families in need within our KCS school community. We also ask that people donate gift cards (Visa, Home Depot, Target, etc.). To date, we have sent 3 truckloads of donations directly to the west side, and today some of our high school students took a load to the South Maui Gym shelter in Kihei.
